Another London

I crave the past- a past that I was never a part of, a past that is impossible to resurrect. The exhibited photographs at Tate Britain has captured London during the 1940’s through to the 1980’s- when London was a black and white city. I admired the way that every human featured in the photographs was unfazed by the camera, acted naturally and thus, timeless and intriguing photographs were produced. Looking at these images it is almost humorous how London has changed- then the capital seemed genuine and reliable with its constant blanket of smog, simplistic advertising and smart people.
It is almost as if I miss it- and I wasn’t even there.
